Goro Toshima is an award winning director_cinematographer based in Los Angeles. His films have received the jury award for best feature documentary at the South by Southwest Film Festival, a best short nomination from the International Documentary Association, as well as best film awards at numerous top-tier film festivals. His work has screened/broadcast widely, from PBS to HBO to the Sundance Film Festival.

 

In addition to his documentary work, Goro also produces videos for non-profits, advocacy groups and foundations. Goro received a Masters Degree in Documentary Filmmaking from Stanford University.
